Swords and Space XIX: The Matrix (film) and Dune (novel)

This month on Swords and Space, join hosts Nicholas and Richard Wansbutter for a discussion of the 1999 Wachowski Brothers’ film, The Matrix. We will take a look at the allegory featured in this film, as well as assessing its significance as a classic of science fiction film. We’ll be joined by Matthew Zepf, editor-in-chief of Brav’s Index.

We’ll also discuss Frank Herbert’s classic 1965 novel, Dune, another work with messianic elements and strong allegory.
